After reading your short comment about FARC and about me I would like to make the following comment: I was never employed or worked for the FARC in any way. It is true that I was a part of ANNCOL editorial board in Stockholm. ANNCOL was established so another voice could be heard from Colombia. It is part of our democracy that all parties get the chance to give their version of what is going on.
On Raul Reyes computer, to which the article refers to, there were no files what so ever. The „news“ that was spread all over the world that thousands of emails were found on the computer were false news fabricated by the Colombian government. This fact is well documented.
So, in early December, the official version, already widely disbelieved across Latin America, began to crumble. The Colombian government-appointed investigator, Captain Ronald Coy, stated under oath that he had found only word documents in the laptop, and not a single email:
QUESTION: „Please state to this office if you have found in the electronic elements seized from Raul Reyes, files corresponding to email messages sent to or received by him.“
COY’S ANSWER: „Proper emails have not been found so far. A large amount of email addresses have been found, but Reyes kept the information stored in word and other Microsoft software.“
So no actual emails. And consequently, no proof that any of the alleged au-thors of these word documents sent or received anything.

The fact that a non existing mail from Raul Reyes about me is being used in this way shows how effective lies can be, especially when the press does not make any effort in correcting the mistakes they made and let a lie circulate.
