Zur Erinnerung an den Jazzpianisten Esbbjörn Svensson informiert das B.H. Hopper Management e.K. über das Gedenkkonzert am 8. Juli in Stockholm:
Dear fans & friends from around the world,There are no words that describe the loss of our beloved friend Esbjörn.
Our grief is beyond belief.
We feel blessed and truly thankful to have shared the life and music with him. Unfortunately the journey we have made together ended much too early. We have done a million things together but there was so much more to do! Just a few days ago we were down in the basement of Esbjörn’s house rehearsing some new songs for the upcoming US/Canadian tour.
We are totally overwhelmed by the love, sympathy, hugs and thoughts that you have submitted to us from all over the world. Thank you so much for sharing these horrible times with us. The only soothing thought right now is, that from your sympathy we can figure that our music has reached and touched a lot of people.
No one knows what the future would have held for us, but the one thing we know for sure is, that the memory and the music of Esbjörn Svensson will outlive us all.
